The happiest day of Austin's life

Santa brought him a train for Christmas and oh my goodness... now, nearly a month after the big day, he still has this look on his face every day when he sees his new train set.

We had such a wonderful Christmas. Brother Chris came down which made us all so thrilled, especially Austin. We were so sad to have to send da-da off to work on Christmas day, but were gladly welcomed into Laura's dad's home for dinner in Virginia that night.

Thank you so much to all our family and friends who thought of Austin on this very special day. He was such a good boy and Santa definitely showed his appreciation. Austin has played with all the toys he received for Christmas, and especially loves the Radio Flier Rocket cousins Josh, Sam and Ben sent him.

There was so much excitement leading up to the big day. Santa even made a visit to Austin Christmas Eve. Just before we were heading out for midnight mass, Santa came by the house to have milk and cookies with Austin. He was totally stunned, thrilled beyond description as he sat on the big man's lap. The little guy even fed Santa a cookie, what a sweetie. Chris and I enjoyed watching him interact with Santa, unfortunately Bo-be was upstairs in the bathroom and missed the whole thing ;o).

More updates to come, hang in there our cruise pictures will be up very soon.
