Had a long day

Austin, Hannah and I had a busy day getting ready for our big trip tomorrow. We can't wait to see all the relatives up in Maine. The house is cleaner than it's ever been and for once all of my laundry is done, that is until tomorrow morning... Chris was able to take a half day so we'll be taking off earlier than expected. We'll be spending tomorrow night at Cathie and Jamie's house in CT, then having two more passengers joining us from there, Josh and Sammy. Austin will love hanging out with his big cousins for the longer leg of the trip. So long for a little while, hopefully we'll have lots of pictures to post once we get back. Will blog soon. Love to all, Liz, Chris, Austin and 'H'

P.S. Austin was so wiped out he couldn't even make it through dinner, he dozed off mid juice sip. Looks like he had a bit too much to drink huh? Cutie-pie.... okay never mind I guess I'll have to wait until blogger fixes whatever problem it is they're having that doesn't let there users upload images. Total bummer!!!

'H' is 3

Our girl turned three yesterday. We made her a whipped cream sundae, yum was that good! She just gobbled it all right up. She's so exited for our family trip to Maine, where she can run free and swim in the lake, what fun that will be for our pup. Hannah has had a bit rough since we moved to Annapolis. I still don't think she's forgiven us for taking away her back yard and favorite golden friends Luxie and Lady. Happy Birthday Hannah!

On my Swing

We had a small break from the heat, as it only reached 95 today. Humidity is still thick enough to cut with a knife. Austin and I spent a little time outside today enjoying his pool and his new favorite, the swing. Pictures do not do justice to how much this little guy enjoys his swing. I remember loving to swing when I was little, I don't know of a child that doesn't. Lucky for us we actually had a place to hang it.

Well this might be the last post for a while as we are heading up north to Maine for a few weeks then Austin and I are going to house sit for my mom while she and my step-dad head for a wonderful holiday aboard an Alaskan cruise, lucky ducks!!! We're hoping Aunties Cathie and Melissa, and maybe even Karen, might join us on the East Hampton beaches. Brother Chris will be in Maine and hopefully on LI for a little while when we're out there, so lots of fun photos to come. Love to all, Liz, Chris, Austin and 'H'

So cute kids

Chris Austin and I headed over to our friends house for dinner and Birthday cake. Nathan and Brenda live about a dozen doors down from our place, which really isn't far at all, not even an 1/8 of a mile. They have two wonderful little girls. Bella their oldest, is one of Austin's most favorite little people and Addison is one of mine. We were so lucky to meet Nathan's sister Beth and her husband Pete and their kidos Cory and Nicole. I had a great time photographing them all. Austin was a little pictured out at this point (imagine that) as we had been shooting video all day for a surprise that will be released in a couple weeks.

Well anyway, we had a great time meeting new people, drinking vodka Nathan brought back from Russia and having a little birthday cake for Beth's 30th. Thanks Brenda and Nathan for the invite and good company. Hope you all enjoy the pics. More posts to be delivered soon. Love Liz and the others.

HELP!!!

A blog for your assistance please. Austin is just fine and I have no new news to report on with him... this post concerns the other aspect of my life that has my brain partially consumed at all times, day, night, weekends, holidays....
All this is my attempt for me to solicit you all, my closest friends and family, for your help. I need everyone and everyone you know, whether they're in Maryland or not, who is interested in buying or selling a house, to know that I am their 'go-to' friend for any Real Estate question, concerns, agent searches, advice... whatever. I just found an agent for someone Chris works with who is moving to San Antonio. It's made all the difference in the word to these people to know that their agent understands where they are coming from and that they'll be comfortable dealing with him. So if you or someone you know is selling or buying or even just moving call me, email me stop by my house whatever. If I can't help you I can find the best agent in the area you're moving to who can. Everyone in Cheyenne knows Chris and I think the world of our agent out there, Bo Short and have referred at a minimum, 20 friends to him. If you go through Bo, let him know you were referred to him by us, it helps my portfolio, my business and I thank you so, so much in advance for trusting my judgment, I know you won't be disappointed. After all it was he and my mom (an agent in East Hampton) are personally responsible for my career change. They love what they do and it shows through the relationships they have built and maintained with their client base. I need your help to become the best agent, servicing the best customers in Maryland. Can you help? Thanks, for checking in on us, and I promise I'll have more pictures of the little guy soon. All my love, Liz

A hunka-hunka burning love

As of today I have a favorite picture of the little man. How sweet is that? We're stilling trying to keep the hat on for more than 10 seconds... any suggestions would be great, I've tried everything I can think of.

Chris and I had put up curtains in Austin's room for more reasons than it just looking pretty. They drown out a lot of the daylight and we've found he takes longer naps when there's less light. We also put them up because he has this obsession with the blinds, he loves to make noise with them, tear them apart, he just goes nuts with these things, to a point that I think they might actually be a hazard, so we got the curtains to put in front of the blinds in order to avoid something bad from happening. So I put him down for a nap today and sure enough the little turkey figured out how to get to the blinds anyway! He's outsmarting me already! The last three pics I just thought were cute and that you might just happen to enjoy 'em. Hope you all like the pictures and thanks for checking in with us. xo Liz and the others xo

Blushing bride-to-be...a beautiful day for we!!!

All, I just had to post these pictures from my cousin Heather's magnificent Bridal Shower. Austin and I flew to Long Island for the day, 12 hours total, to attend my eldest cousin Heather's bridal shower hosted by her mom (aunt Mary-Ellen) and sisters Meghan and Sarah. Austin was so well behaved, had a great flight both there and back. He was the man of the hour at the party as he was the only boy at the whole party, what a special guy!!! It was great to see all the ladies on my side of the family again, I only wish we could have stayed longer and spent a little more than just a couple hours together.

Heather and her fiance Mark will be heading to Aruba (I think) for a destination wedding with their immediate family and close friends...so awesome. Mark is such an incredible person, fits right into the family, like he's always been here. I couldn't be happier for them both as I know Mark is marrying one of the kindest, most caring and sweetest chicks I know. Love to you both and hope you have a spectacular trip. Take lots of pictures! Don't forget your hankies Heather!!! Hopes, dreams, laughter and love, Liz

The Bomb is GOING... GOING... GONE!!!

Thank goodness for kiddy pools!!! Austin absolutely loves ice cream and now popsicle. It's nice having the pool, everything just washes right off. As you can see he had such a great time is his pool yesterday eating ALL of his Bomb Pop. And to just think he could barely stay awake for more than an hour this time last year. Oh how time flies.

Chris and I want to congratulate out friends Beth and Sam!!! They are expecting their first baby and just found out they'll be having a beautiful baby girl. We're so, so happy for you all and cannot wait to meet her. Best of luck to you both for the remainder of your pregnancy Beth. Can't wait to see you guys. --Liz, Chris, Austin and 'H'

Our other beautiful baby

Miss Hannah is turning three (or 21) very soon. I caught her sitting still long enough to grab a couple shots. Hope you enjoy her sweet little face!!!

What a guy

Austin had a great day playing in the sun in the new pool his memere and pepere got him for his birthday. The weather heated back up again here and the humidity is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Here are a few new pics I took of the bebe today. He's learning things so quickly these days, it's incredible. He signs 'all done' and 'more' and say and waves 'bye-bye' and 'hi' he claps while saying 'yaaaay' and today for the first time he called Chris Daddy, not da-da, daddy. Not to mention the fact that he hasn't stopped for a moment, as I type he's pulling all of the trash out of my waste paper basket and placing each sheet into a neat little pile beside him. Let's just hope he's more organized than his mom and dad. Well have a wonderful week and I will try to update soon. All our love, Liz, Chris Austin & 'H' (she prefers to be called that now, you know she's of drinking age now? ha ha! Our little girl is all grown up... sweet Hannah)

Dad's Birthday

Today my dad would have celebrated his 57th Birthday. We miss you so much. Not a day goes by I don't wish I could pick up the phone to hear your voice again. You're in my life every day and I am so blessed by that. There are no words, just memories, pictures and what lies ahead. Happy Birthday Daddy...

Pretty Boy

Here are a couple of pics I just took of Austin today. He's become quite the ham for the camera, certainly knows what to do when mommy asks. I love you Austin, you're definitely my favorite subject.
