Big Trouble on Superbowl Sunday

We just wanted to send Aunt Karen and Uncle David a big thank you for Austin's Colts t-shirt. We had a great time last night watching the game and routing for Peyton and his team. I went to the store to get Austin a balloon and came back to find my little man was up to no good while I was out. This picture you see here is our ottoman, turned upside down and yes Austin is inside. Now I thought Chris may have done this for him, but no, Austin took care of flipping the entire thing upside down all by himself. I'd say it's between 10 and 15 lbs. His newest word is boat and judging from the pictures, he just wanted to go on a boat ride. If this is how wild he is at 19-months, I fear the day he turns two! Hope you all had a great weekend. Thanks for checking in on us, leave comments if you have time. Love to all, Liz & the team

For Tony

Well we received this Dallas Stars sweater from our great friend Tony before Austin was even born. I remember finding it hard to imagine our little baby actually being able to fit into it. The day has come though where he's big enough to fit into it. I think Austin looks so handsome in it! Tony, if you have some free time I know my guys would love to catch a hockey game with you.

Play-dates

Austin had two play-dates yesterday! What a lucky duck. One with Michael, and one with his girl Ava, isn't she a doll? What can I say, my little guy's got great taste. Playing with Ava made me realize how wild Austin really is. She is very good about sharing and well Austin just enjoys tearing everything apart. He is all boy! We had so much fun yesterday and look forward to our next little date. Thanks Amy and Ava for having us over.

Hugging, climbing and running oh my!!!

Yes he's doing it all. Austin has found a new found love for giving hugs and kisses. When he gives hugs now he closes his eyes and says "Awe!"

As for the climbing, well see for yourself. Chris and I were working on the computer, turned our attention away from Austin for all of two seconds and I hear someone fiddling with something on the dining room table. Yes little Aussie-roo positioned the chair himself just perfectly to climb up it and onto the table. So this is what we found.

He also enjoys climbing up on the couch to watch TV and read his books. Hannah has really warmed up to him these days as they both enjoy snuggling under the blankets. The whole furniture climbing thing has made my 'baby proofing' a bit more challenging as our furniture has to all be rearranged

As for the running, well I think he may have picked it up from his cousin Ben. Ben loves running from across the room to tackle his mamma and well Austin saw that this past weekend and realized what fun it is and yes now he knows how to run and tackle.

Love to all, more cruise pics coming up. --Liz

Xcaret and Cozumel

Here are a few pictures we took during our first stop on Cozumel. We actually never even toured Cozumel and took a ferry over to the Mayan Peninsula and Playa del Carmen where we explored the fantastic Eco-park Xcaret. For all you cruisers who haven't explored this park yet, I highly, highly recommend it.

In the park we headed straight for the 'native' restaurant as we were all very hungry. The food was absolutely amazing, from fresh fish, fruit and cheeses to tacos and paella. Yum! After lunch we enjoyed a little beach and swim time with Austin. The day was certainly not long enough. I could have spent a week there and still had more to see. If we were to go back I would definitely want to do the cave tubing. Austin was Uncle Bo-be's buddy all day. It was nice to have my hands free!

MySpace

I have a my space account. I now, like this isn't enough of a waste of my time. Well you see I'm in a web design class right now and viewing web code is good for me, so I thought I would start a MySpace account to work on stuff there too.

Here's a pic Cathie and Jamie sent me from this past weekend at our nephew Sam's 6th birthday. I just love it. He's wearing daddy's hat. Love you all, will post more cruise photos soon, I promise.

Some more time on the ship

On the Ship

Here they are finally, the pictures from our cruise in the Caribbean. Here are some pictures from our time spent on the ship, the Carnival Glory. it was a very nice ship and the cruise staff was top notch. We wish there were a few more facilities available to children as the play area on the ship was only open a total of four hours the entire trip and the children's pool was well, concrete and not a bit forgiving for little ones. Austin really loved the towel animals our room steward John made every night. Mom and Dan treated all of us to balcony state rooms, and we enjoyed many sunrises, sunsets and views from there. Austin's favorite thing to do was hang out in the jacuzzi, listen to the live music (mostly reggae) and running up and down the halls.
