Storming Ernesto, feathery friends & cousin Glenn

Just wanted to let you all know we're still here. We haven't had a whole lot going on. Chris' cousin Glenn and friend Pete from Fort Kent came for a visit. Chris and I took them downtown to see the capitol and gave a drive thru tour of the academy. We then went to our favorite Crab house Harris' to feast on great seafood.

The rain has got us all spending a little too much time inside, cabin fever has set in on Austin and I. The weather has finally cooled off a bit though, this summer was so, so hot it's nice to finally have temperatures back in the 70s and 80s. Chris caught a moment of sunshine and found this feathery little friend on our back porch. We faired Tropical Storm Ernesto pretty well. We lost power about half way through the storm so our sub-pump was not able to run and part of out basement was flooded. Chris has been working very hard getting the place aired out and has done a great job. I'm already gearing up for the next storm which is projected to hit us next week some time. Hopefully we won't loose power again. We were lucky and only had a little water in the basement, our neighbors had 2 inches of standing water. Yikes! Chris helped them clean that up and get all their stuff dried off.

That's the news in the Saucier world for the moment. Hope you are all doing great and thanks for checking in on us. Can't wait to hear from all of you. Love Liz and the gang
